A well-established personal injury law practice in Cranston, RI is seeking a motivated Paralegal with 1–3 years of personal injury experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a fast-paced caseload while working closely with a sole practitioner.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, discovery responses, medical record requests, and other case documents.
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
- Organize case files, maintain deadlines, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Prepare case summaries, settlement packages, and trial binders when needed.
- Support the attorney with day-to-day case management and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm.
- Strong understanding of PI case flow, medical terminology, and Rhode Island procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently with professionalism and strong judgment.
- Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities.
